MF Introductory Intensive - Part I | July 18 - 20, 2024

This three-day intensive teaches how the MF paradigm (tenets, principles, and 4 Phases Practice) is an all-abilities training program for Liberating Bodies as Dance Artists and Moving in Life & Art. Facilitation by Jane Hawley with Brenda Harris, Scott Hurley, Dana McConnell, Sarah Frydenlund, Birte Heinecke, Sophia Rog, Shellie Matt, and MF Student Research Coordinator, Anna Stenerson.

MF Research & Development - Part II  | July 21 - 23, 2024

This three-day intensive is open to all bodies for further engagement with the ongoing research and development of the MF paradigm by artists with MF Certification and those seeking or completing MF Certification. Facilitation by Jane Hawley with Miranda Beyer, Katie Bevers, McKay Bram, Cory Eull, Taylor Gomez, Brenda Harris, Judith Howard, Scott Hurley, Brennan Wilder, and MF Student Research Coordinator, Anna Stenerson.

MF Open Studio, Open Space, & Mentoring Sign up - Part III | July 24, 2024

An opportunity to practice, open your research to anyone or receive one-on-one feedback from Jane or other MF Certified Artists. First come, first serve. Email Jane to schedule a time.

Course Fees
  • Individual MF One Day Session: $90
  • Total 3-day MF "Introductory Intensive" Course: $250
  • Total 3-day MF "Research and Development" Course: $250
  • Total for both MF "Introductory Intensive and MF Research and Development" Courses: $400
  • Presenters do not pay for sessions but will pay for their lodging, meals, and the 7 pm Food and Games banquet (July 20 and/or July 23).

Course Fees do not include food, lodging, or the Luther facility fee.  A fee for the Food and Games banquet will be added to your final bill.

Residence Hall Information

If you choose to stay on campus you will be staying in Farwell Hall. This residence hall is located nearby Dahl Centennial Union. Farwell Hall houses people in one- and two-person rooms, which comprise three clusters on each floor. Each cluster has its own common living area and set of bathrooms.


Features of Farwell Hall

  • A laundry room or kitchen is located on each floor (kitchen on floors 3 and 6)
  • Access Card controlled entry to residence hall (all guests will receive an access card when they check-in)
  • A large study/social lounge with fireplace, kitchen, and conference room is located on the 8th floor.
  • Free WiFi
  • Free laundry machines (bring your own soap)


Room Information

  • All rooms have Twin XL mattresses and include pillows and blankets.
  • Each guest receives a linen packet that contains two flat twin XL sheets, pillowcase, towel, hand towel, and a wash cloth.
  • Restrooms and showers are shared. Each restroom has individual shower and toilet stalls.
  • All rooms are air conditioned
  • Please remember that you are staying in a college residence hall designed for 18-22 year old students. We provide our guests with basic, comfortable housing.

Oneota Market | Open Monday - Friday from 7:30 am to 3 pm

Oneota Market overlooks the beautiful landscape of the Oneota Valley in Dahl Centennial Union.  Oneota offers a full selection of freshly made menu items, including: Simply to Go pre-made items, Impact Coffee, Baked Goods from the Luther Bakery, Breakfast All Day, Wraps, Sandwiches and Paninis, Daily Specials.
