Luther College is pleased to host the 2024 Dorian Choral Retreat (June 28 - 30).

Registration Options

For the retreat participants, we offer the following registration options with or without housing.  The registration covers your retreat fee, housing for two nights, and meals.

Choral Retreat with Housing

  • Double occupancy room: $210 per person (early bird rate until May 1); $225 per person after May 1
  • Single occupancy room: $220 per person (early bird rate until May 1); $235 per person after May 1

Choral Retreat Retreat without housing

  • Commuter: $160 (early bird rate until May 1); $175 per person after May 1

Do you have a spouse or partner joining you who will not be singing?  We welcome them to attend the retreat.

Non-participating spouse/partner/friend with housing

  • Double occupancy room: $140 (early bird rate until May 1); $155 after May 1
  • Single occupancy room: $150 (early bird rate until May 1); $165 after May 1

Non-participating spouse/partner/friend without housing (covers meals)

  • Commuter: $90 (early bird rate until May 1); $105 after May 1

      Residence Hall Information

      Musicans will be staying in Farwell Hall. This residence hall is located near Dahl Centennial Union. Farwell Hall houses 259 people in one- and two-person rooms, which comprise three clusters on each floor. Each cluster has its own common living area and set of bathrooms.


      Features of Farwell Hall

      • A laundry room or kitchen is located on each floor (kitchen on floors 3 and 6)
      • Access Card controlled entry to residence hall (all guests will receive an access card when they check-in)
      • A large study/social lounge with a fireplace, kitchen, and conference room is located on the 8th floor.
      • Free WiFi


      Room Information

      • All rooms have Twin XL mattresses and include pillows and blankets.
      • Each guest receives a linen packet that contains two flat twin XL sheets, a pillowcase, a towel, a hand towel, and a washcloth.
      • Restrooms and showers are shared. Each restroom has individual shower and toilet stalls.
      • All rooms are air-conditioned
      • Please remember that you are staying in a college residence hall designed for 18-22 year old students. We provide our guests with basic, comfortable housing.
